McKenzie Lee, AScT, R.B.Tech

McKenzie is a Project Biologist and Director at Sartori with substantial experience in environmental consulting on projects across BC. He has served as the Provincially-approved Lead Field Monitor with Sartori as the Independent Environmental Monitor (IEM) on the construction phase of over 10 run-of-river hydroelectric projects in as many years. He is an Applied Science Technologist (AScT), Registered Biology Technician (R.B.Tech) and Environmental Professional (EP). Additionally, he is a member in good standing with ESCAC & ESCABC. A key insight into his process involves a depth of knowledge in Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) with the foresight to predict issues before they develop.

McKenzie has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to land development, infrastructure and facility construction with expertise in design, implementation and auditing of major construction projects. He takes pride in his ability to provide realistic and adaptive management strategies to ensure successful project delivery in an equitable, timely and sustainable manner. He has worked as the Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) on record for construction projects in and about a stream, wherein he was tasked with project management, permitting, fish and wildlife habitat assessment and salvage and has been an environmental monitor/auditor for numerous large construction projects.
