Matthew Joyce, RBTech, A.Ag.

Matthew is a Managing Biologist at Sartori Environmental Inc. (SEI), with 10 years of relevant industry experience. Matt brings a high level of professionalism as a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) and has a wealth of knowledge pertaining to regulatory permitting at all levels of government, aquatic biology, invasive species management and mitigation planning. He has adaptively managed environmental risks during construction activities ranging from marine demolition to habitat enhancement. Matt has a strong record of finding solutions that meet clients’ construction needs while avoiding undue impacts to the environment.

Matthew has served in the Lead Field Monitor and management roles on successful municipal drainage maintenance programs in both Township of Langley (2018 – present) and the City of Coquitlam (2019 & 2020) and has brought expertise to projects in the oil & gas, mining, green energy, forestry, railway, residential construction sectors. Mathew has expertise in:

  • Regulatory consultation and project permitting at all levels of government
  • Providing mitigation measure recommendations
  • Habitat enhancement planning/ implementation
  • Designing and implementing in situ water quality and sampling collection programs
